A duck of mine once told me this,
"The more you resist, the more it persists."
So I just got to stop resisting it?
It's not that easy my dear duck.
It's the case of "when can't mixed up with don't want to".
*does my rambling make any sense at all?*

solitude
Solitude is my escape.
Where I can take off my "fake" cape.
Just put on some music till the sound is fade.

don't want to be tied down
Give me all your money
And I’ll show you a card trick
Give me all your diamonds
And I’ll draw you your likeness
Hey, don’t want it to ever stop
But I don’t want to be tied down
Hey, my temperature’s getting high
So could you keep your voice down
Hey, don’t want to go over the top
So could you release my arms now
Like I say,
Don’t want it to ever stop
I don’t want to be tied down
Hey, don’t want it to ever stop
But I don’t want to be tied down

Bhinneka Tunggal Ika
That is the official national motto of my beloved country, Indonesia. It is a quotation from an Old Javanese epic poem, Sutasoma, written by Mpu Tantular during the reign of the Majapahit empire sometime in the 14th century. Literally it means "Although in pieces, yet One", or often translated as "Unity in Diversity".
July, 17th 2009. An act of cowardness strikes my country. 2 bombs explode in Jakarta. The first one explode around 07.40 AM at JW Marriott Hotel, Kuningan. And the 2nd bomb explode around 07.50 AM at Ritz Carlton Hotel, not far from JW Marriott. At least 9 people killed and more than 40 were injured from that blasts.
My deepest condolence and prayers for the victims.
And let me tell you something, if YOU think that this act would make us, people of the Republic of Indonesia, Indonesian people scared, you are so DEAD WRONG!!!
WE WILL NOT GO DOWN! NOT BECAUSE OF BOMBS! INDONESIA WILL SURVIVE!

Lessons from Grey's Anatomy
A couple hundred years ago, Benjamin Franklin shared with the world the secret oh his success. "Never leave that till tomorrow which you can do today", he said.
I dont know why we put things off, but if I had to guess, I'd say it has a lot to do with fear. Fear of failure, fear of pain, fear of rejection.
Sometimes, the fear is just of making a decision. Because, what if you're wrong? What if you're making a mistake you can't undo?
Whatever it is we're afraid of, one thing holds true. That, by the time the pain of not doin a thing get worse than the fear of doin it, It can feel like we're carrying a giant rock.
"He who hesitates is lost". We can't pretend that we haven't been told. We've heard all the proverbs, heard the phylosophers, heard our parents warning us about wasted time, heard the damn poets urging us to seize the day. Still, sometimes, we have to see for ourselves.
We have our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibillity under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore, Untill we finally understand for ourselves ,what Benjamin Franklin meant.
That knowing is better than wondering. And that even the biggest failure, even the worst, most intractable mistake, beats the hell out of never trying.

love from the eyes of 11-years-old
Somewhere a million miles away…the girl I once loved was going down her road…and I was stuck back on mine."
"I couldn’t escape them - all the things I left unsaid, all the little things I left unsaid. I was drowning in them."
"Suddenly, I knew what I had to do. Love isn’t about ridiculous little words. Love is about grand gestures."
"Love is about airplanes pulling banners over stadiums.
Proposals on Jumbotrons. Giant words in skywriting. Love is going that extra mile even if it hurts. Letting it all hang out there. Love is finding courage inside of you that you didn’t even know was there."
Those are some lines taken from the movie Little Manhattan that I watched almost 3 yrs ago,,a movie about two 11-years-old find love in NYC..you may think those lines a bit lame and cheesy..but i just love it,,cause it came from an 11-yrs-old boy who felt love for the first time..it was an honest and sweet movie..
the actors were amazing, new york is so romantic, i could relate to the boy, i love scooters, i love karate i love everything to do with this movie! its all very true to life and its seen through the eyes of a boy that i think most guys can relate to..(eventhough i’m a girl)..Plus,,it has so many good songs..i repeat,,the songs in the movie are soooo good!!!!even my lil sis recorded it "live" from the DVD..I just love this movie..I luv it!!!

Raise your white gloves. This is for the king of pop.
I'm starting with the man in the mirror
I'm asking him to change his ways
And no message could've been any clearer
If You wanna make the world a better place
Take A look at yourself and then make that...
Change!

I found out about her few months ago.
Her name is Maia Hirasawa.
Some say that she's sort of the mixture of Emiliana Torrini + Feist + Björk.
One thing for sure, i like all of them. They are great female singers.
And after I heard Maia's songs, i like her too.
If you want to know about her, just visit her website or check out her space.

I am giving up

I am giving up

i am giving up on you.

Not Yet
One day,
when you least expect it,
LOVE will tap you on the shoulder and say,
"Move outta the way!! It's Not your turn Yet!!"

stuck
Life goes on.
Everything's move on.
Everything's change.
I know that.
But, (there always gonna be "but")
In some part of my life,
I stay remain,
I don't know how or why,
I just can't move on.
I guess that's why life goes on.
Everything's move on.
Everything's change.
Maybe I stay remain now,
But who knows where will I be then?
Everything's move on.
Everything's change.
I know that.
But, (there always gonna be "but")
In some part of my life,

Quotes Corner #2
Few quotes that I like taken from the movie "Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist".
"I love you so much, it's retarded."
"The way your looking in your sleep, the way your looking when your leap. The strange illusions that you keep. You don't know that I'm noticing."
"Norah: There's this part of Judaism that I like. Tikun Olam. It said that the world is broken into pieces and everyone has to find them and put them back together.
Nick: Maybe we don't have to find it. Maybe we are the pieces."

I'm a quotes freak!!!
I take notes on every lines that can make me feel the "Aha Moment!"
So welcome to my Quotes Corner.
You may copy it. Be inspired by it. Feel the "Aha Moment!" because of it. Whatever.
Cause it's not mine too!
"People spend a lifetime searching for happiness; looking for peace. They chase idle dreams, addictions, religions, even other people, hoping to fill the emptiness that plagues them. The IroNY is, the only place they ever needed to search was within." - Ramona L. Anderson

My favorit treat when i'm feeling yellow-mellow, Sour Sally fro-yo, Medium Plain with Peach/Strawberry Combo, never failed on me.
The fro-yo itself, yummmmmmm-o. You have to try it yourself. I think people that even are not a fan of yogurt can actually dig this. It has zero fat, so it's guilt free. Some said, the point of having dessert is all the fatty stuff and the guilt you get out of it. I agree, I dig the whole eating healthy thing, but leave my dessert alone. I dont do low/non fat dessert coz they mostly suck big time. But hey, how cool is it to get a fantastic dessert that u love and it's fat free?
My simple way to get my own happiness. I heart you Sally! Big Time!!

Love: Mistery or Misery?
Paulo Coelho once wrote:
"Suffering occurs when we want other people to love us
in the way that we imagine to be loved,
and not in the that love shoul manifest itself - free and untrammeled,
guiding us with its force and driving us on."

For me, Love is like ordering a Dim-Sum set at your favorite Asian food restaurant.
Sometimes you get one [or maybe more] of the items that you don't like, but you just have to accept it because it's already included in that Dim-Sum set.
But we can always find our reason no to eat the items that we don't like in that Dim-Sum set.
But in case of love?

the labour of love
I quoted these lines from some sources...(I forgot...)
"The key to suceeding in a relationship is not finding the right person
it's learning to love the person You found.
Sustaining love is not a passive or spontaneous experience.
It'll never just happen to you.
You can't find lasting love.
You have to make it day iN and day ouT.
That's why we have the expression "The Labour of Love".

Full Moon & Friday the 13th
I've mentioned about the 2nd Friday the 13th in 2009.
But did anyone see the moon last night?
I noticed it when I got home around 11 PM and before I opened the gate, I looked at the sky, and there it was, this lovely round white silvery object. I took my my camera from my bag, and took some picts of it.
Another beautiful object created by The Mighty One.

Friday the 13th
This is the first time i write at my very own blog, cause usually I do my blooging thingy at Multiply or Friendster.
Related to the title, yup, this is the 2nd Friday the 13th in 2009. Do u notice??
So I wiki'ed [for more info, just click it] to find out why people related Friday the 13th with something bad, spooky, or unlucky.
Here's what I found.
And just like what I always say when Friday comes, "Thank God It's Friday!!!!"
wuhuuuuuuuuuu....

So I wiki'ed [for more info, just click it] to find out why people related Friday the 13th with something bad, spooky, or unlucky.
Here's what I found.
One theory states that it is a modern amalgamation of two older superstitions: that thirteen is an unlucky number and that Friday is an unlucky day.
- In numerology, the number twelve is considered the number of completeness, as reflected in the twelve months of the year, twelve signs of the zodiac, twelve hours of the clock, twelve tribes of Israel, twelve Apostles of Jesus, twelve gods of Olympus, etc., whereas the number thirteen was considered irregular, transgressing this completeness. There is also a superstition, thought by some to derive from the Last Supper or a Norse myth, that having thirteen people seated at a table will result in the death of one of the diners.
- Friday has been considered an unlucky day at least since the 14th century's The Canterbury Tales, and many other professions have regarded Friday as an unlucky day to undertake journeys or begin new projects. Black Friday has been associated with stock market crashes and other disasters since the 1800s. It has also been suggested that Friday has been considered an unlucky day because, according to Christian scripture and tradition, Jesus was crucified on a Friday.
And just like what I always say when Friday comes, "Thank God It's Friday!!!!"
